The GEOS is a graphical user interface (GUI) for the Commodore 64. Its menus and desktop icons, and graphical and word processing programs added salience to the emerging mouse for business users. Not to mention games for the home computer enthusiast. GEOS was released for Commodore 64 in 1985 and later for the Apple II.
